● History: Kamome is a the daughter the Shīkingu clan leader, Shachi and his wife, Kurage. Being one of the first female born Shīkingu since her great grandmother, her birth was celebrated. Growing up, Kamome was pampered and taught the clan's special jutsus and control over their kekkei genkai, Typhoon Release. She is very close to her uncles, Kujira and Unagi due to their musical affinity and as sparring parents. With high hopes for the Shīkingu female, she quickly excelled and became a Chūnin. After that, she was taken away from her three man cell and brought back to the Shīkingu clan island to live in peace. Kamome was born without any worries and responsibilities

Due to the clan's growth in such a short amount of time, the Shīkingu clan was given a small island far south of Kirigakure. After the hidden village received its nickname "Village of the Bloody Mist", the Shīkingu cut all military ties with the village. To this day, their relationship with Kiragakure is at an awkward stance. The Shīkingu clan supplies the village with resources and still come to Kiragakura to become shinobi and to complete some missions, but other than that, the Shīkingu does not help Kiragakura, which is evident from not participating in any previous wars or major battles. Also, due to their kekkei genkai, they futher isolate themselves so that their kekkei genkai will not be used recklessly.
The Shīkingu clan is very unique clan. The clan is predominantly male, making any females born very rare. To date, there are over one hundred and fifty members of the Shīkingu and they all live on the island, which is respectably named "Shīkingu Isle". Shīkingu clan members are very noticeable due to their pinkish-coral hair and blue eyes. All Shīkingu clan members have this trait. Despite their giant numbers, the Shīkingu clan is the true definition of family. Each family has their own home, which are all close to each other. By day, most of the Shīkingu clan members go fishing, train, or prepare for their nighty dinner. At night, the entire clan gathers for dinner, which is followed by singing and dancing till late into night hours. It is tradition that all members of the Shīkingu are musically skilled, whether it be vocally or with an instrument.
For the Shīkingu clan, the only ways to leave the island are to join and graduate the Kiragakure's academy, Chūnin Exams, or to find someone to marry. For all of the Shīkingu clan members, they go to the mainland for three months to find a spouse and bring them back to the island (along with meat, since the Shīkingu clan lives on seafood and whatever vegetation that grows on the island). The married couple are expected to have seven to eight children in hopes it would produce a female, but in most cases all the children are male. For female members born, they are treated as if they are royalty and are taught a large variety of jutsus and taijutsu, musical skills in an instrument and vocal talent and dance. The female born Shīkingu clan members are given a choice to leave and live outside the island, but none have left to this day.
